If you had sons would you allow them to play with dolls? Why or why not?
If I had sons, the reason why I would let my sons play with dolls is because maybe he is tired of playing with cars, trucks and e.t.c. all the time and maybe he wants to try something other then cars, trucks and e.t.c.
Another reason why I would also let them play with the dolls is because he needs to enjoy his childhood and sooner or later when their growing up they would figure out if it's okay for boys to play with dolls and if dolls are for girls or boys and maybe they would get tired of playing with dolls and go back and play with toys that his friends play with.
I would also let my sons play with dolls because they shouldn't do what commercials and e.t.c. say what they should play with if they are boys or girls. I think they should follow their own opinion on what they are going to play with and what they want to do.
Why is it fine for girls to play with cars and not boys with dolls?
For me I think its fine for girls to play with cars because maybe their tired of playing with dolls, dressing up dolls and e.t.c. and they want to play with something new.
I think boys and dolls are fine too, but it might seem weird to see a boy to play with dolls because in real life youdon't really see boys playing with dolls mostly they play with something other then dolls. But you see girls driving cars and you don't really see most (not evey) boys playing with dolls. Its okay for boys to play with dolls and girls to play with cars because not everybody's the same we all have something unquie about ourselves, toys are ment for both genders. If their happy and enjoying themselves its fine for boys to play with dolls and for girls to play with cars too.
Why is the mom so confused and upset about this?
Mom is confused because her son Lucas wants to buy an rapunzel doll and she doesn't know if she should buy the rapunzel doll for her son Lucas because she doesn't know if dolls are appropiate for boys to play with dolls.
